No. Pollin Fertility has no waitlist for the Ontario Fertility Program (OFP) funded IVF. Eligible patients can typically begin their cycle within 4–6 weeks of their initial consultation. Pollin is a registered OFP clinic in Toronto, and most patients who qualify can start the process without delay.
Yes! Patients can enjoy the comfort and convenience of virtual initial consultations, diagnostic testing (Markham only) and cycle monitoring closer to home and will only require travel to the Toronto clinic for embryology procedures (egg retrieval and embryo transfer).

Local to Ottawa patients are able to access Pollin funded IVF cycles through Pollin Toronto. Currently our funding is tied to our Pollin Toronto lab, and will remain that way until we are able to apply for funding for the Ottawa lab in 2027.
Ottawa patients who are eligible for a funded cycle will benefit from local in-clinic consultations, diagnostic testing and all treatment cycle monitoring, but will require travel to the Toronto clinic for embryology procedures (egg retrieval and embryo transfer).
Yes. Your initial fertility consultation at Pollin is covered by OHIP with a valid Ontario Health Card. You do not need to arrange a referral yourself—we handle it for you. Call us directly or book online — our team will guide you through the next steps, and we will facilitate the referral through our partner clinic.
Book a consultationYes, you do need a referral to see a fertility specialist in Ontario, however Pollin can facilitate one for you through an OHIP-covered, virtual appointment with our partner GP if you do not have your own GP.

Pollin Fertility’s main clinic is at 2360 Yonge Street, Second Floor, in the heart of Midtown Toronto — steps from the Yonge and Eglinton subway station. The clinic serves patients from across the Greater Toronto Area, including North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga, Vaughan, and Richmond Hill. Street parking is available on Yonge Street; Eglinton station (Line 1 and the Crosstown LRT) is a two-minute walk. Patients from Markham, Ottawa (until the Ottawa lab opens late all 2026), and Sudbury complete their monitoring locally and travel here only for egg retrieval and embryo transfer.
